THE PERSONAL LIBRARY OF DR. HENRY CLIFFORD KINLEY

FOUNDER OF THE INSTITUTE OF DIVINE METAPHYSICAL RESEARCH

Dr. Kinley was a bibliomaniac, or in other words, a lover of books. As a young man, Dr. Kinley had to leave the sixth grade to go to work and help support his family, yet he would become a most well-read man and there was no subject he was unfamiliar with. Dr. Kinley’s personal library consists of over four-hundred books and numerous newspaper and magazine articles. He brought his collection with him in 1958 when he relocated from Springfield, OH to his home in Los Angeles, CA and continued to build his library until his passing in 1976. The collection was digitally recorded for this site and later the books were donated to the Los Angeles Public Library. This site has been developed to allow the membership of the IDMR and the public, to appreciate the various materials in Dr. Kinley’s personal library. Not only was Dr. Kinley well-read, he is the author of everything ever written.
